
Summer Camp 2023 “Around the World”
Program Overview:
The program is designed to provide an immersive and enriching summer experience for youth, with a focus on exploring independence, development of social skills, and self-confidence. This summer enrichment experience is sure to engage and excite children aged 6 to 16 years old. Our program themes change from week to week with topics of all interest. The program will be open to grade school students and will include a variety of activities such as outdoor adventures, water play, business tours, and community service projects.
Overall, we are committed to providing a high-quality, comprehensive, and affordable summer program for youth in the Clayton–Garner–Raleigh–Durham area. By offering a range of activities, experiences, and opportunities for personal and professional growth, we believe that the program will be a valuable investment in the youth of our community.
Program Goals:
The program aims to provide participants with a diverse range of experiences that will help them develop leadership skills, cultural awareness, business acumen, and a sense of community engagement.
Specific program goals include:
- Building relationships between youth from urban and rural areas.
- Exposing youth to new experiences and cultures.
- Encouraging youth to develop leadership skills through community service projects and business workshops.
Program Logistics:
The program will be run by a team of experienced teachers and program coordinators, with support from local community organizations, businesses, and volunteers. Participants will be responsible for their transportation to and from program activities, but the program will provide transportation for any group outings that require it. The program will also provide snacks and lunches for participants during program activities.

Camp Location: 131 Guy Road, Clayton, NC 27520
Camp Cost: $235 per child; a week.
$200 per child a week; if three children from the same family.
Program Schedule:
The program will run for eight weeks during the summer, from early June to late July. Each week will have a different focus, with a mix of activities. The schedule will be as follows:

Welcome Orientation,
Campers engage in ice breakers and community builders and start the summer with a bang,

Week 2: Around the World
Dancing, Cooking (origins of foods),
Art & Singing,
Sports,
Day trip to Regal White Oak
Week 3: Summer Scientist
STEM (Legos, Magnets),
Experiments (Test your theories),

Day trip to Marbles Museum
Week 4: Let’s Do Business
Visit to Library,
Finance (budget and currency),
Guest speakers from the community,
Career Day
Week 5: Community Service
Act of kindness,
Create a service project for the local Senior Living Community,
Market place,
Volunteer at the farm (Interface Food Shuttle)
Week 6: Nature Explorations
What nature has to offer (rainforest, mountains, Deserts),
Under the sea,

Tour Botanical Gardens
Week 7: Beat the Heat
